The Foreigner

The Foreigner is a 2017 action thriller film directed by Martin Campbell and written by David Marconi. It is based on the 1992 novel The Chinaman by Stephen Leather. On 5 June 2015, it was announced that Jackie Chan would be next star in the action thriller film The Foreigner. Principal photography commenced in January 2016. On 15 July 2015, Deadline reported that Martin Campbell was in talks to direct the untitled film, previously known as The Foreigner, while Relativity Media was going to finance the film.

“The Foreigner” however marks a new direction for the star, who received an Honorary Oscar just last year. He gets a chance to show off emotion and acting chops we rarely see from the martial arts icon, and it is a welcome change.

Storylines:-

The movie revolves around the revengeful life of a businessman named “Quan” who sets out to seek revenge for the death of his teenage daughter. The death of his daughter was a result of ruthless politics that motivated the groups of terrorist to spread the evils of terrorism in the country. He deeply broke up, and he wants the killer of his daughter. The hidden emotions that he buried deep into his heart after the death of his lovely daughter took the form of revenge, and the storyline displays the game of cat and mouse when he decides to catch the culprits as well as the masterminds of the crime.
